برنیسکون^® فرآورده طبیعی

هر  5 میلی لیتر حاوی :

• سدیم آلژینات 250  میلی گرم
• کلسیم کربنات 80 میلی گرم
• سدیم بیکربنات 133.5 میلی گرم

کاربرد درمانی:

فرآورده برنیسکون^® حاوی کربنات کلسیم، سدیم آلژینات و سدیم بیکربنات است و به عنوان آنتی رفلاکس در رفع علائم بیماری برگشت محتویات اسیدی معده به مری (رفلاکس) کاربرد دارد. بعد از مصرف برنیسکون^® سد محافظی در برابر بازگشت محتویات اسیدی معده به مری ایجاد می شود.

برنیسکون^® برای درمان علائم رفلاکس اسید معده (رفلاکس گاستروازوفاژیال) شامل بازگشت اسید به پشت گلو و سوزش سر دل که معمولاً بعد از صرف وعده های غذایی اتفاق می افتد موثر است.

 

مقدار و روش مصرف شربت برنیسکون^®:

• قبل از مصرف فرآورده بررسی نمائید در بطری فرآورده باز نشده باشد.
• بزرگسالان و کودکان بالای 12 سال: یک تا دو قاشق غذا خوری (20-10 میلی لیتر) بعد از غذا و قبل از خواب، و حداکثر چهار بار در روز استفاده نمایند.
• در کودکان کمتر از 12 سال فقط با توصیه پزشک مصرف شود.
• مصرف بیش از حد این فرآورده ممکن است موجب احساس خفیف نفخ و ناراحتی در شکم شود.
• درصورت نیاز با پزشک و یا دکتر داروساز مشورت کنید.
• اگر مصرف فرآورده را فراموش کردید لازم نیست دوز مصرفی بعدی را دو برابر کنید.
• قبل از باز کردن در فرآورده، بطری را به خوبی تکان دهید.

 

مکانیسم اثر:

بعد از مصرف برنیسکون^® طبق مقدار توصیه شده، سدیم آلژینات موجود در این محصول به سرعت با اسید معده واکنش نشان می دهد و یک ژل اسید آلژینیک با pH تقریباً خنثی تشکیل می دهد که به سرعت و به طور موثر بر روی محتویات معده شناور می شود و تا 4 ساعت مانع رفلاکس معده به مری می شود. در موارد شدید، این ژل شناور همراه با محتویات معده به مری برگشته و اثری آرام بخش ایجاد می نماید.

دو ماده بیکربنات سدیم و کربنات کلسیم نیز به عنوان ضد اسید اثر می‌کنند و در بهبود تسکین علائم ناشی از اسید معده مفید هستند.

 

موارد منع مصرف:

در صورت وجود سابقه حساسیت به این فرآورده و یا هر یک از اجزای تشکیل دهنده از مصرف فرآورده خودداری نمائید.

 

بارداری و شیردهی:

در دوران بارداری و شیردهی، تحت نظر پزشک مصرف شود.

 

احتیاط مصرف :

• اگر علائم رفلاکس پس از 7 روز از زمان مصرف این محصول ادامه داشت با پزشک خود مشورت کنید.
• در صورتی که پزشکتان رژیم غذایی کم نمک (کم سدیم) برایتان تجویز کرده است، قبل از استفاده از این محصول، با پزشک خود مشورت نمائید. (مخصوصا در صورت نیاز به استفاده طولانی مدت از این محصول)
• این فرآورده حاوی ملح سدیم (2/285 میلی گرم سدیم در هر دوز 20 میلی لیتری) است و حداکثر توصیه مصرف روزانه این فرآورده حاوی 8/1140 میلی گرم سدیم می باشد. که معادل 57% حداکثر مقدار سدیم مصرفی روزانه در بزرگسالان می باشد.
• در بیماران کلیوی و در بیماران با نارسایی قلبی با احتیاط و تحت نظر پزشک مصرف گردد.
• هر 10 میلی لیتر از این فرآورده حاوی 160 میلی گرم کربنات کلسیم است. لذا مصرف این فرآورده در بیماران با غلظت بالای سرمی کلسیم، نفروکلسینوز (رسوب نمک کلسیم در بافت کلیه) بایستی تحت نظر پزشک و با پایش بیمار باشد.

سایر داروها با برنیسکون^®

از مصرف سایر داروها دو ساعت قبل یا بعد از این دارو خودداری نمائید. قبل از مصرف هر یک از داروهای زیر با برنیسکون^® با پزشک یا داروساز خود مشورت نمائید:

آنتی هیستامین ها، آنتی بیوتیک ها (تتراسایکلین ها و کینولون ها مانند سیپروفلوکساسین)، فرآورده های حاوی آهن، ضد قارچ ها مانند کتوکونازول، دیگوکسین و بتا بلوکرها، پنی سیلامین، گلوکوکورتیکوئید، نورولپتیک، هورمون های تیروئید، کلروکین، استراموستین و بیس فسفونات

 

عارضه جانبی:

واکنش آلرژیک به مواد تشکیل دهنده ممکن است به ندرت  اتفاق بیفتد (کمتر از 1 در 100.000 بیمار). علائم واکنش آلرژیک ممکن است شامل: بثورات پوستی، خارش، مشکل در تنفس، سرگیجه یا تورم صورت، لب ها، زبان یا گلو باشد. در صورت مشاهده این عوارض یا هر گونه عوارض جانبی دیگر، مصرف فرآورده را قطع کنید و بلافاصله به پزشک خود مراجعه نمایید.

 

شرایط نگهداری :

• در جای خشک و خنک و دمای کمتر از 30 درجه سانتی گراد و دور از نور نگهداری شود.
• دور از دسترس کودکان نگه داری شود.
• از یخ زدگی و سرما محافظت شود.
• پس از تاریخ انقضاء درج شده روی فرآورده از مصرف آن خودداری فرمایید.

Each 5 ml of Burniscon® consists of:

Sodium Alginate            250 mg

Calcium Carbonate         80 mg

Sodium Bicarbonate    133.5 mg

 

Therapeutic Indication:

Burniscon® Suspension belongs to the family of locally acting antacids. Burniscon® is consist of Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Alginate and Sodium Bicarbonate and is used as reflux suppressant to treat return of acidic contents from the stomach to the esophagus (Reflux). After using Burniscon® suspension, a protective layer forms that floats on top of the stomach contents. This layer acts as a barrier preventing reflux and keeping  the stomach contents away from the lining of the food pipe to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and acid indigestion.Burniscon® suspension is used for the treatment of Gastro-Esophageal Reflux which includes regurgitation and heartburn, which usually occurs after meals.

 

Dosage and Method of Administration:

• Before using the product make sure the bottle is sealed.
• Adults and children above 12 years :Take 10-20 ml (one to two 10 ml spoonfuls) after the meal and before bed with maximum amount of 4 times in a day.
• Children below 12 years: To be used only on the advice of a physician.
• Using more than recommended dose may cause mild feeling of bloating & gastric discomfort.
• Consult your physician or pharmacist in case it is needed.
• If you forgot to use the product, Do Not double the next dose.
• Shake well before use.

 

Mechanism Of Action:

After using Burniscon® according to the recommended dose, Sodium Alginate reacts with gastric acid and forms an alginic acid gel with neutral PH  which floats on the content of the stomach and prevents the acid reflux from stomach to esophagus for 4 hours. In the severe cases which there is a chance of return of stomach content to esophagus, the produced gel will be floating on top of the content of the stomach when returning back to esophagus.

The two substances Sodium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate also act as antacids and are useful in improving the relief of symptoms caused by stomach acid.

Contraindication:

Avoid using the product if you have a history of allergy to this product or any of its components.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Use under the supervision of a physician during pregnancy & breastfeeding.

Precautions:

• If your reflux symptoms were not relieved within 7 days of using the product, consult with your physician.
• If your doctor has prescribed a low salt (low sodium) diet for you, consult your doctor before using this product (especially if you need to use this product for a long time.)This product contains sodium salt (285.2 mg sodium per 20 ml dose), and the maximum recommended daily intake of this drug contains 1140.8 mg of sodium, which is equivalent to 57% of the maximum amount of sodium consumed daily in adults.
• In patients with heart or renal failure, Burniscon® should be used with caution and under the supervision of a doctor.
• Each 10 ml of this product contains 160 mg of Calcium Carbonate. Therefore, the use of this product in patients with high serum calcium concentration, nephrocalcinosis (calcium salt deposition in the kidney tissue) should be under the supervision of a doctor and patient monitoring.

Other Medicines:

• Avoid using other medicines 2 hours before and after using Burniscon®.
• Before Taking Burniscon® with any of the below listed medicines, consult with your physician or pharmacist. Antihistamines, Antibiotics (Tetracyclines and Quinolones like Ciprofloxacin), Iron preparation, Antifungals like Ketoconazole, Digoxin and Beta blockers, Penicillamine, Glucocorticoid, Neuroleptics, Thyroid hormones, Chloroquine, Estramustine and Bisphosphonates

 

Possible Side Effects:

Allergic reactions to ingredients of Burniscon® are rare

(1 out of 100000) to happen.

These symptoms may include skin rashes, difficulty in breathing, dizziness or swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat. If you experience these or any other side effects, stop taking the product and contact your doctor immediately.

Storage Condition:

• Store in a dry and cool place below 30°C and away from light.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Protect from freezing and cold.
• Do not use the product after the Expiration date written on the product.

Excipients: Carbomer, sorbitol, glycerine, potassium sorbate, peppermint flavour.
